Although Houston does not have the luxury of New York or the fresh air of L.A., it has something that continues to draw in people from all over- opportunity. With the open job market and relatively inexpensive living, Houston has certainly put itself on the map, as we have discussed in previous blogs.
Houston represents to many the original “American dream.” A place of opportunity where one can flourish in independence and increase their social and economic status. It’s a place where you can strive to own your home and have the means to meet that goal. It’s a place where you can find career opportunities in manufacturing, trade, energy, and the medical field. It’s a place where dreams of a better way of living are accessible.
