In the Fulshear and Katy areas, we are very familiar with the new Grand Parkway Tollroad that extends throughout the city. The latest news on the Tollway reports that toll rates will be increasing on January 1, 2015 as mandated by the Texas Transportation Commission. Based on an annual schedule, rates will increase by 2.22 percent. To put this new implementation into perspective, when you drive along Grand Parkway from U.S. 290, it will cost $3.38 instead of $3.30. When New Caney opens in about two years, the toll from Cinco Ranch to New Caney will cost you $10.69.
