Guess what? The Houston area will soon be the home of a new family-friendly attraction! Representatives of Grand Texas, have released plans to dedicate forty-three acres of the entertainment district in New Caney to a family-oriented racing attraction.
Palmetto Racing, based in the Woodlands, is working closely with Miller Performance USA to develop this new multifaceted racetrack, to be called Motorsportz at Grand Texas. The attraction is projected to include nearly two miles of track that will make way for a combination of traditional karts and even super karts, reaching speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. Plans also include test tracks for a variety of sports cars! The venue is expected to feature high-performance driving schools and other motorsports activities.
Motorsportz at Grand Texas is planned to open in mid-2015.
