New Methodist Hospital to serve Katy and Fulshear

In recent community news, the Methodist Hospital System has begun construction on a new site that is intended to serve the neighborhoods of Fulshear, as well as the Cinco Ranch area of Katy. This 9,600 square foot medical center is planning to opening during the spring of 2015, near Cinco Rose Drive and FM 1093.

The Houston Methodist Cinco Ranch Emergency Care Center, as it will be named, plans to serve the community seven days a week, twenty four hours a day with its numerous private treatment rooms and emergency services. Of course, the emergency center will have the latest technology available for laboratory testing and diagnostic testing, which will cover the full range of pediatric to geriatric patients.

CEO of Houston Methodist West, Wayne Voss, was very excited about this project, as he was quoted saying, “it will give local residents a first-class medical facility within minutes of their homes.” The westward expansion of this facility will greatly improve emergent access to the communities of Fulshear and other neighborhoods, while providing modern care and treatment.
