Scarecrow Festival in Fulshear

The beauty of the fall season is right around the corner, which means the Scarecrow Festival is back in Fulshear, Texas! This is the fifth year  that this special event will be in the city, and it is actually one of the largest community events in the area. Can you believe there were upwards of 4,000 attendees at last year’s festival? Due to Fulshear’s rapid growth, event planners for the festival are accommodating by gathering more vendors, having more games for children, and expanding the parking.

The highlight of the 5th Annual Scarecrow Festival will of course be the rows of scarecrows that are created by local teams, with this year’s theme being Rock-N-Roll. The carnival will also include live music, apple bobbing, pumpkin carving, face painting, and more! Also, new to this year will be the Cross Creek Ranch Bale Trail that will create some excitement before the event. Hale bales that are going to be theme decorated will line Cross Creek’s FM 1093 entrance.

Not only is the Scarecrow Festival a wonderful family-friendly event, but it is correspondingly a fundraising event for Arts Fulshear. Arts Fulshear is a non-profit organization created in 2011 that is committed to the cultural growth of the community, which supports art, education and cultural events.

The 5th Annual Scarecrow Festival will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 on the commercial landing front on FM 1093 from 11am to 4pm.
