Earlier in the week, US News and World Report highlighted the overall top 25 high schools in the nation. Four Texas schools, two of which are in Houston, were able to make the list. The Houston schools were able to fill the No. 6 and No. 23 spots in the ranks. The No. 1 spot in the report was a school located in Dallas.
All of the schools on this prestigious list boast of small student to teacher ratios and high college readiness scores. Below are the two Houston schools.
